JEAA AGM

The Association held its AGM on Wednesday 16 September via Zoom with a number of member agencies attending.

The President - Gill Hunt opened the meeting by thanking all those present for attending and welcomed new member firms since last year’s AGM – Huelin Homes and Keys Properties. She continued by highlighting some of the challenges that had been overcome as a result of COVID-19 and lockdown and was pleased to report that the market was recovering well and member firms were busy once again.

It was reported that many planned Association events had been postponed, most disappointingly being the Diamond Ball, which had now been rescheduled for Friday 19 November 2021. All sponsors have agreed to sponsor the newly arranged event which would be promoted early in 2021.

An update on Propertymark NAEA news was given and the new President, Kirsty Finney was welcomed by the Association. A virtual meeting is planned for the end of October to link the new President with our members together with some key note speakers.

The President, Vice-President and Committee all agreed to stand for a further term of office.

In conclusion, the President thanked the Committee for all their hard work throughout the year and thanked Catherine Buckley of Maillard’s Estates, who hosted the Committee in their boardroom, enabling us to link with member agents via the big screen.
