Nick Dodsley founded ND Estates at the end of April 2009.
Nick is the Director responsible for the Sales & Lettings, conducting viewings and appraisals.
Nick has been involved in Jersey property conveyancing for 37 years and has worked for major legal firms in the Island on residential and commercial properties and was a founding member of the Jersey Association of Property Conveyancers (JAPC). He maintains contact with many of the senior property lawyers in the Island and also knows many of the local developers. He conducts freelance conveyancing generally on special projects or development projects. Nick maintains an active interest in Jersey conveyancing.
Nick is the sole owner of ND Holdings Limited t/a ND Estates.
Nick is also one of the founder shareholders and directors of ND Property Management which commenced operations on the 1st January 2014 as a specialist block management company.
Nick was elected as Vice-President of the Jersey Estate Agents Association in April 2018.
Nick in his spare time also has an active interest in software and database programming, using principally PHP and MySQL.
Catherine was born in Haverfordwest, Wales, moving to Jersey in 1973. Educated locally at Jersey College for Girls and later at Southampton Solent University, she gained a Diploma in Land and Property Valuation and passed the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers ( ISVA) professional exams.
With over 30 years-experience in the property industry, Catherine previously worked for the former States of Jersey's Property Services Department (now Jersey Property Holdings) which included a secondment to Drivers Jonas in London. In addition, Catherine has lived in New York and recently sold her local jointly owned property business.
Catherine is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
As a Committee member, Catherine is excited by the challenges of driving forward the Jersey Estate Agents' Association for the betterment of the industry, its standing in the community and those that work within it.
Shelagh was born in Wiltshire but grew up in Bristol where she was educated and lived for a number of years. She came to Jersey in 1980 and spent much of her early career in the offshore finance industry and legal firms, where she gained her LLB (Hons) law degree.
In 2006 she felt she needed a change of direction and joined one of Jersey’s larger estate agencies where she learnt the art of estate agency. Thereafter, in 2010 she branched out and set up her own estate agency partnership with a former colleague, which she went on to sell in 2015.
Although semi-retired, Shelagh is passionate about the industry and has ensured that she keeps up-to-date by continuing her studies and has attained the NFOPP Level 4 Certificate in Sale of Residential Property. She gained membership of the NAEA in 2010 and has now gained fellowship. Shelagh was joint president of the Jersey Estate Agents Association (JEAA) for 3 years and remains on the council. She strives to promote the quality and public recognition and understanding of the profession locally.
Gill Hunt has lived in Jersey for over 30 years and has been in estate agency for 20 years.
In 2018, Gill became the President of the Jersey Estate Agents Association. She is passionate about ensuring high standards of professionalism and conduct for its members for the benefit of clients, and regularly organises education, training and new legislation updates.
Gill established Hunt Estates in 2015, previously having been a founding partner of another local estate agency.
Gill is a Fellow of NAEA Propertymark and has completed national examinations that gained her a Certificate of Practice in Estate Agency. She sits on the NAEA Propertymark Board representing the Channel Islands.
Gill has a reputation for honesty and integrity; keeping her clients informed, and working hard to achieve a speedy and smooth transaction for all parties.
Gill is married and enjoys travelling with her husband to cultural European cities for their art and architecture. She has a keen interest in Art History having studied in her spare time, and continues to attend lectures both on and off island.
Aimee was born and educated in Jersey.
Aimee founded Wilsons along with Clifford in 2012 after working together for 10 years prior. Then joining partnership with Knight Frank in 2018 following many years of successful joint cooperation.
Working in the property industry since 2002, Aimee is well respected with extensive knowledge. Dealing with all aspects of the property market, Aimee specialises in high value property.
Aimee is a member of the NAEA Propertymark association and has been a committee member for the JEAA for many years.
Samantha was born and educated in Jersey.
Upon finishing her studies she set out to start a career in property. Securing an administration job for a local estate agent ignited her passion in property services and she soon progressed through the company. In 2015 Samantha became a full time property negotiator and has now been working at Wilson’s Knight Frank for 4 years.
This passion inspired Samantha to join the JEAA committee in 2018, with a vision to create a more regulated industry which will benefit all members of the JEAA.
Carol moved to Jersey from West London in 1988where she worked in a hotel at Heathrow organising conferences and events for10 years. When she arrived in Jersey she started a secretarial job at Beck& Dene Estate Agency then moved to Troys Estates as a property negotiator. Carol commented “In those days the industry was very different to what it is today”.
Carol then changed career and joined the banking sector where she studied and became a Financial Adviser at Lloyds Bank and later became the Island Mortgage Manager, as she enjoyed helping people achieve their goal of buying a property.
In 2012 Carol joined Uniquely Flats as a negotiator and in 2015 having completed the Propertymark NAEA Level 3 Technical Award in the Sale of Residential Property, she became a senior negotiator, where she remained for five years after the business was sold.
In December 2020 Carol established her own estate agency business as Watson Homes and is working hard to build up the business whilst studying towards the Propertymark NAEA Level 4 Certificate in the Sale of Residential Property to consolidate her knowledge.
Carol enjoys visiting her sister in Sardinia, her daughter and grown up grandsons in West London and her daughter in Melbourne and feels very fortunate to have one grandson living in Jersey.
Joanna was born and educated in Jersey and has been involved in property for the past 15 years.
Property has been Joanna’s passion from a young age, starting her career at the age of 19 working for an Estate Agency. Progressing to purchase a property management business, later rebranded as Huelin Homes, which has now successfully progressed to cover sales, lettings and management.
Joanna is very hands-on. Her approach, and that of her staff has built long term relationships with clients.
Joanna is currently studying towards the Propertymark NAEA level 3 in both Sale and Lettings and Management of Residential Property.
